Jon Ashton, HMRC's new Director Cyber Security and Information Risks, sets out his vision for the future of the Security Profession and invites your views.

Jon joined HMRC as the Director Cyber Security and Information Risks (CSIR), in May 2016. His team is responsible for developing HMRC’s strategy and policy for information management and security, and for a range of operational services such as business continuity planning, personnel vetting, assurance and incident management.
Jon has also had spells working in Ministry of Defence and Cabinet Office.
